Hello, I'm Naomi!
GuavaBaby is a small creative project rooted in a love of sewing, design, and making from scratch. What began in 2020 as a jewellery brand raising money for charity has gently grown into something more personal.
I have always been drawn to clothing - its design, its construction, and the stories behind how things are made. Much of that comes from my dad, who makes his own sporrans, a craft that is becoming increasingly rare.
As a petite gal, sewing started out of necessity - wanting clothes that actually fit - but over time it’s become something much more. It’s a creative outlet, and there’s nothing quite like the quiet thrill of wearing something you’ve made with your own hands.
I’ve been sewing my own wardrobe for over a decade, and more recently have been exploring pattern drafting - learning through practice and curiosity, and finding real joy in turning ideas into garments. My patterns and guides are designed to feel approachable and enjoyable, whether you’re just starting out or have been sewing for years!
